Eric Stange is an award-winning independent documentary film producer, director and writer who specializes in current affairs as well as cultural and social history. Recent public television credits include THE WALL and AFTER THE WALL – a two-part series about modern Germany; THE MAN WHO MADE WASHINGTON WORK – a profile of Republican icon James A. Baker III, and MURDER AT HARVARD (for PBS American Experience). He has been a research fellow at the Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History at Harvard University.

Manuel+Oliver.jpg

Manuel Oliver lost his son Joaquin – known as Guac – in the Parkland High School shooting. The Olivers (Manuel and Patricia) started a non-profit advocacy group called Change the Ref that seeks to empower future leaders and vote out politicians who take NRA money. Manuel uses his artistic training to keep the focus on Guac and the 16 other lives lost that day. His new play “GUAC: My Son, My Hero” tours across the country.

Elizabeth+Cavazos.jpg

A resident of Rio Grande Valley, Elizabeth Cavazos responded to the family separation crisis playing out in her community by putting herself on the front lines of a political controversy for the first time in her life. Her group is  Angry Tias and Abuelas of RGV , which won a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for their work at the border.

Vikiana Petit-Homme is a college student who responded to the March For Our Lives movement as a high school junior when she helped organize two substantial marches to prevent gun violence. Vikiana is now a Regional Director with March For Our Lives Boston.
